Turn off activity detection

For me, it is okay for the watch to automatically detect my activities but it will be nice also to have an option to turn off activity detection so I don't have to add extra effort deleting those extra activities. 

Was this issue resolved as I’m wanting to turn off activity detection too

Please add the ability to disable this. I've literally never had it correctly detect an activity. This feature is useless.

I agree - riding a motorcycle says I'm cycling and have to go in and delete the activity every time. Should be able to disable certain activities.

Looks like we are entering year 3 of begging withings to add in what should be a simple implementation.
About 1/3 of my workouts are accurate, THE IDEA THAT I HAVE TO TAKE OFF MY WATCH TO DO CHORES IS INSANE, but here we are.
Dishes =\= cycling
Laundry =\= cycling
JUST LET ME TURN THIS OFF!

Please add option to turn off auto activity! It never gets it right. So annoying

It is really annoying to get wrong automatic activity trackings multiple times a day. Withings can you please listen and give us an option to disable this function!!! Thank you in advance.

Why is the marked as "answered"?  Seriously Withings.  I've spent thousands of dollars on your stuff over the past decade.  I love your products but I'm so sick of deleting incorrectly-detected activities EVERY SINGE DAY.

Don't you think that people that SERIOUSLY want to track their activities are disciplined enough to start and stop activity tracking themselves?  With these daily incorrectly-detected activities I can't accurately track my activities until I've deleted all of the incorrectly-detected ones.  I've selected "activity type was wrong" and "other" hundreds, if not thousands of times.  I'd think you have the option to select those so the feedback gets back to you but apparently not.  PLEASE GIVE AN OPTION TO DISABLE AUTOMATIC ACTIVITY TRACKING.

I agree with the other requests: please add an option to disable automatic detection of workouts.

Everytime I use my motorcycle to drive anywhere it will detect this as cycling. It's a really annoying aspect of an otherwise really nice smartwatch. Adding this option would make it so much better for me!

I agree. It's dumb that Withings can't devote half an hour of their dev teams time to provide basic functionality.

Yep, another motorcyclist here who has to spend several minutes every weekend deleting spurious cycling entries from my commute to and from work, and then also while at work when performing any kind of manual task. The recent update doesn't seem to have made any difference. Please, for the love of God, just allow us to turn it off.

I have to delete walks and cyclings on a regular basis. Just annoying, and makes the timeline a big mess. Pleeeease add a setting for toggling auto activity detection off/on. 

I'm shocked at how many false workouts my watch is saying I do. I get 3 or 4 a day that I then need to delete to keep track of my real workouts. I'm shocked that such a basic function would be missing. I've bought into with withings brand but now warning other people who are thinking of making the switch not to.

Same as everyone - I know what I want to track, and there's dozens of inaccurate activities. Please add this option :(

The ability to quickly select any activity that I plan on tracking takes less than three seconds when I'm going slow because the interface--at least on my ScanWatch--is so well-designed & functional; automated activity tracking is unnecessary in most use cases. Having the ability to disable it shouldn't be a very hard fix.

For the LOVE OF GOD, WITHINGS.... I'm not freakin' riding a bike when I'm driving or masturbating. Seriously.... some workouts are more of an effort than others...

Hi blue under iOS app they have said that u can disable activity, don't know if it works or not.But they have not added this to android app as of yet am looking forward to this like every one else.

Update: This option works on iPhone and Scan Watch. 

Hmm, great to hear that it has been solved for some (i.e. varm). But in the Android app I can't find an option to switch it off. Perhaps for now only available on iPhone but hopefully coming soon for Android?

I have an iOS device with the updated app synced to my HR Sport, no such option.

I guess it's also only available for the newer Scan Watch... good for you Withings!

Most incredible is that after 3 years there is not a word from Withings, to this and most of other feature requests.

The only ones I've found with some kind of interaction were written in french...

Keeping this thread alive and updated, just checked on Android, still showing the available version is 5.13.1 updated on Dec. 13th 2022. No ability to turn off auto-detection.

Hoping that there may be hope for this soon!! I have been waiting on this feature request for over a year now myself, fingers crossed.
