An update for Health Mate is now available. Please update the app to restore the steps screen on your Steel HR.
what happened to the Steps display ? after the last update to version 6981 it disappeared from the watch and from customized screens.. ??? Most used function on the watch would be good to get it back,, Anyone idea when that would be likely?

I thought there's something wrong with my watch, I'm glad it's not just me. It's my most used function as well, I wouldn't have updated my watch or my app if I had known they were going to take this function away.

Yes, makes absolutely no sense why they would take the step display out.

They just released an update yesterday (29 Sep) for the Health Mate app. Mine is fixed now :D
