    Thank you for posting. For everyone who has the same issue and if you haven't already done it, I invite you to check the following article from our Help Center first:

    - Steel HR / Steel HR Sport - Frequently asked questions about connected GPS


    Also, please make sure that:

    1) Your Steel HR is running firmware 5331 or higher. You can check this by going in Health Mate to Devices > Steel HR. Then, scroll down until you can see the firmware version of your watch.

    2) You launch the workout mode on your Steel HR. 

    3) You work out outside with your mobile device and with location services/reporting enabled. 

    4) You have Health Mate open.


    If the situation persists after that, please contact us at and indicate in your email that you have already performed the steps from above.
