What is the Air Quality screen and how does it work?
The Air Quality screen lets you view the air quality of your region at a glance. The scale connects to a partner service (AccuWeather) that specializes in weather forecasts for your location and displays the current day's Air Quality Index (AQI). The AQI is used by governments to detect and forecast pollutants in the air.
You will receive updated information depending on what time of day you take your weight measurement:
- From 6:00 am to 12:00 pm: air quality data for the current day’s morning
- From 12:00 pm to 6:00 am: air quality data for the current day’s afternoon/evening
What are the different air quality readings that I can receive?
The Air Quality screen shows four different levels which reflect a specific range of the Air Quality Index:
EXCELLENT: The AQI is between 0 to 20
