Better Body is a personalized, guided 8-week program to help you reduce body fat. It provides you personalized daily lifestyle tips to help you reach a healthier body composition. 

Unlike other programs, Better Body focuses directly on body fat, filtering out variables such as person's overall size, water weight, and other factors that frequently frustrate people trying to lose weight. People who target an optimal level of body fat instead of an "ideal weight" are more likely to incrementally sustain their weight loss over time.

How does Better Body work?

  • Coaches on body composition/excess body fat reduction rather than just simply weight loss
  • Provides fat loss goals based on a user’s profile information and degree of motivation thanks to a Nokia body fat mass goal recommendation system
  • Reviews your performance - At the beginning of each week, you'll be assigned an activity to focus on. At the end of the week, you'll receive a grade indicating how well you performed that activity. 

Note that you need to own one of the following scales to join the Better Body program:

  • Nokia Body Cardio
  • Nokia Body+
  • Withings Smart Body Analyzer
  • Withings Wi-Fi Body Scale

How can I activate Better Body?

Better Body can be activated at any moment. To do so, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the Health Mate app.
  2. Go to Wellness Programs.
  3. Tap Learn More.
  4. Tap Join.

Note that Better Body can only be activated by the main user of the Nokia account.

How can I deactivate Better Body?

Better Body can be deactivated at any moment. To do so, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the Health Mate app.
  2. Go to Wellness Programs.
  3. Tap Better Body.
  4. Tap on the three dots at the top right of the screen.
  5. Tap on Leave.
  6. Tap OK to confirm.
