Are there any accessories I can use from my ScanWatch or Steel HR with ScanWatch 2?

Does ScanWatch 2 have a built-in GPS?
No. It needs to be connected via Bluetooth to activate the connected GPS for all distance-based outdoor activities. You will need to enable the location settings on your phone for this feature to work.
Should I use ScanWatch 2 if I wear a pacemaker?
No, you should not use ScanWatch 2 if you wear a pacemaker or other internal medical device. A pacemaker circulates electrical signals in your body, which may induce wrong ECG measurements from the watch.
Note: Withings devices are connected via Bluetooth and/or WiFi. This means that they radiate electromagnetic fields that may interfere with other medical devices. If you have a pacemaker or another implantable active medical device, use precautions with connected objects. Please check with your doctor for detailed information before using these items.
How will the menstrual cycle tracking feature work?
Withings' menstrual cycle guide provides comprehensive data all in one place so that you can keep track of your symptoms, length, and phases to stay on top of your health. Tracking your menstrual cycle phases, length, and symptoms month after month can help you understand your unique cycle patterns. Get notifications, and stay empowered with comprehensive data that can help you make informed decisions about your menstrual health and build better routines to stay balanced.
You can also export all of your menstrual health data, including symptoms, duration, and phases, on a comprehensive PDF report that can be sent directly to your doctor. This holistic view enables more accurate assessments of your reproductive health and may be able to facilitate early detection of an issue as it arises.
Is the SPO2 measurement clinically validated?
SpO2 measurement is a wellness feature and therefore not clinically validated.
How does the watch measure your temperature?
The temperature sensor is able to track temperature 24/7, including overnight and during a workout. It is normal for your temperature to rise and fall at night as inflammatory responses are amplified to fight sickness or health problems. By following your temperature trends over the long term you can build better night time habits as well as stay on top of your fluctuations which may indicate the onset of an illness.
Your body temperature can change periodically while you work-out and so its important to stay on top of your data. Especially as heat exhaustion is a common problem in people over 65, with health conditions or those living in a hotter climate; Tracking your live exercise temperature shifts will help you stay informed, and prevent yourself from overheating which can benefit your performance & post-workout recovery.
Temperature readings are typically accurate after 15 minutes of wearing the watch, and whenever you take the watch off, you may see some higher values recorded.
