In order for GPS routes to be recorded, you have to:
- Launch the workout mode for running on your watch workout outside with your mobile device, with location services/reporting enabled
- Open the Withings App open while running
Note:
You may notice a dotted line within the GPS map of your workout if the Withings App didn't receive enough GPS data points during the time of your workout. Please make sure that the Low Battery mode is not activated on your smartphone.

When using GPS tracking for activities with the watch, you may notice that the distance shown in the app differs from the distance shown on the watch for the same activity. This is due to post-processing that happens with the data in the app (steps, GPS data, etc.) the results in a more accurate measurement of your total distance after the activity is finished.
The data shown in the app should be regarded as more accurate than what was shown on the watch.
