Should I use the Smart Body Analyzer if I wear a pacemaker?
No, you should not use the Smart Body Analyzer if you wear a pacemaker or other internal medical device. The Smart Body Analyzer circulates a small electrical signal in your body to perform some of its measurements such as fat mass and heart rate, which may interfere with a pacemaker or other medical device. However, our Wireless Scale and Body Scale models can be used even if you wear a pacemaker.
Note: If you already own the Smart Body Analyzer and wish to keep it you can use it as long as you disable body fat measurements. You can do so from the Withings App.
Should I use the scale if I have a stent?
Stents will not affect the measurement and do not pose a risk to the use of the scale's BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis).
