What is Apple Health?
With iOS 8, Apple released Apple Health, allowing to display information about your health and fitness in the form of easy-to-read charts. Apple also created HealthKit, a software platform for app developers that allows all the health and ﬁtness apps to work together.

What data can be shared between the Health Mate app and Apple Health?
The Health Mate app can share the following data with Apple Health:
- Active Calories
- Body Fat Percentage
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Diastolic Blood Pressure
- Heart Rate (except the average heart rate recorded by Sleep Analyzer)
- Oxygen Saturation (SpO2)
- Resting Calories (Metabolic Calories)
- Sleep Analysis
- Systolic Blood Pressure
- Walking and Running Distance
The Health Mate app can import the following data with Apple Health:
- Heart Rate
Why Apple Health does not synchronize automatically with Health Mate?
There currently exists an iOS restriction between Apple Health and Health Mate. In order to synchronize both apps, make sure to open both apps and refresh the Home screen in Health Mate.
