This article will help you if you encounter any of the following issues:
- You have no sleep data in the Withings App
- Your data seems inaccurate
- The time in bed or wake-up time appear to be incorrect
- There are gaps in your sleep data
Note: It can take up to two hours after you get out of bed for your sleep data to be sent to the Withings App.
You have no sleep data in the Withings App
If you have no sleep data in the Withings App:
- Make sure that your Connected Alarm Clock and your sleep sensor are plugged in.
- Make sure that your Connected Alarm Clock and your sleep sensor appear in My devices in the Withings App.
If not, you need to install them. - Make sure in My devices that your sleep sensor is assigned to the correct user.
If not, change the user assigned. - Make sure your Wi-Fi network works properly.
If it doesn’t, your Withings Aura™ won’t be able to communicate with the app. - Log in to the web dashboard to see if your sleep data is there.
If it is, simply log out from the app and then log back in.
If that still doesn’t fix the issue, try uninstalling the app and installing it again. - Make sure the sensor is properly placed.
It should be below your mattress, at chest level. - If you’re sleeping alone in a double bed, make sure the sensor is centered in the bed.
- If your bed has a slatted frame, you may need to place something (like a piece of cardboard, for example) between the frame and the sensor.
- Make sure in My devices that your sleep sensor is assigned to the correct user.

Please note that your Aura will track your activity anytime you are in bed. If you are engaging in a sedentary activity, such as reading or watching television, the Aura may track this as a rest period. To avoid this from happening, you can choose to disable the sensor until you are ready for it to track activity. To do this, open the Withings App and go to My Devices > Aura and then toggle the 'Sleep and sound sensors' option. Follow these same steps to re-enable the sleep sensor.
If your issue persists, you can always edit your sleep data.
There are gaps in your sleep data
You may experience gaps in your sleep data if you are sleeping on a king or queen-sized bed. If you tend to roll over from one side to the other on a large bed, you may need to move the sensor closer to the center of the bed and then recalibrate it. If you do not have a large bed, or you do not roll over from the sensor, you may simply need to recalibrate the sensor.
If your issue persists, you can always edit your sleep data.
