The Push-To-Talk feature doesn't work
If the Push-To-Talk feature doesn't seem to work, perform the following steps:
- If the person next to your Home can't hear what you're saying, make sure the app can access the microphone of your mobile device.
To do so, open the app settings of your smartphone and select Home Cam. - If you can't hear what the person next to your Home is saying from the Home app, make sure that the volume level of your mobile device isn't all the way down.
You hear an echo when you use the Push-To-Talk feature
It's perfectly normal to hear an echo when you use the Push-To-Talk feature while being in the same room as your Home.
You hear a clicking sound coming from your Home
If you hear a clicking sound coming from your Home, reach out to Customer Service by clicking the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page.
You hear no sound at all from your Home
If you don't hear any sound from your Home at all, or if either the Lullaby or Push-To-Talk feature is generating no sound, you will want to perform a factory reset.
If you still hear no sound, contact our customer service so we may issue an exchange.
The sound from the Home is distorted
If the sound from the Home's speaker seems distorted, unclear or crackling, you will want to perform a factory reset.
If the sound is still distorted, contact our customer service for further troubleshooting.
The audio stream of your Home is choppy/laggy (iOS Only)
If the audio stream of your Home is choppy or laggy, check your Wi-Fi connection. If your Wi-Fi connection is not a problem, connect with an Ethernet connection.
If this does not solve the issue, perform a factory reset.
