If the Push-To-Talk feature doesn't seem to work, perform the following steps:
- If the person next to your Home can't hear what you're saying, make sure the app can access the microphone of your mobile device.
You can do so by opening the Home app, going to Settings > General Settings > System authorizations, and making sure that Microphone is enabled.
- If you can't hear what the person next to your Home is saying from the Home app, make sure that the volume level of your mobile device isn't all the way down.
It's perfectly normal to hear an echo when you use the Push-To-Talk feature while being in the same room as your Home.
