This article will help you if you encounter any of the following issues:

- You get an "X" on the screen of your Withings Pulse when taking a measurement, or your data seems inaccurate
- You can't start the Heart Rate mode



You get an "X" on the screen of your Withings Pulse when taking a measurement or your data seems inaccurate

  1. Try to stay still during the measurement
  2. Place your finger lightly on the back of your Withings Pulse.
    Pushing too hard can impact the measurement.
  3. Make sure your finger is clean and not too cold.


You can't start the Heart Rate mode

If you can't start the Heart Rate mode, it probably means the touchscreen is not responsive. Reach out to Customer Service by clicking the Contact us button at the bottom of the page.
