IMPORTANT UPDATE:
As of March 22, 2022, the Baby Companion App is no longer available for download from the App Store. If you already have the Baby Companion App installed on your mobile device, it will continue to function as normal. Please note that if you delete the Baby Companion App from your mobile device, you will not be able to re-download it via the App Store nor direct from Withings.
To install the Smart Kid Scale, perform the following steps:
- Pull the tab below the scale if it's the first time you're installing it.
- Open the Baby Companion app.
- Open the menu and tap Settings.
- Tap Withings Kid Scale.
- Tap Install a new scale.
- Press the scale button for 4 seconds and tap Next.
- Go to the Bluetooth settings of your mobile device and pair your Smart Kid Scale to your device.
Note: If you have previously installed your scale with this mobile device, it will appear in the list of Bluetooth devices. To the right of the scale, you will see a blue 'i' icon. Select this icon, select 'Forget this device,’ and then confirm.
- Go back to the app.
- Tap Install now.
- Tap Set up a Wi-Fi connection to install it in Wi-Fi or I don't have a Wi-Fi network to install it in Bluetooth.
- For Wi-Fi installation, tap the Wi-Fi you want to use and then tap Allow.
- Tap OK.
