You don't get any data

Note: The reactivation of the Pulse Wave Velocity feature only affects users who have bought a Body Cardio in Europe. The feature is available with the firmware 1811 and requires Health Mate version 4.4.1 for iOS / 4.3.4 for Android.

If you don't get any Pulse Wave Velocity data, perform the following steps: 

  1. Make sure the Pulse Wave Velocity screen is still activated in your Health Mate app.
  2. Make sure you step on the scale barefoot.
  3. Make sure your scale is clean.
    Click here for cleaning instructions.
  4. Make sure you remain still the entire time you're on the scale.
  5. Make sure you don't talk during the measurement.
  6. Make sure your feet are centered on the scale and that your heel is placed on the second stripe from the bottom.
  7. Try to moisten your feet if everything else fails.

Note that after installing your Body Cardio, you will need five valid measurements before you can access the Pulse Wave Velocity graph. These measurements are required to calibrate Pulse Wave Velocity measurement on your scale. You will receive a Timeline item every time you get a valid measurement, and a final one once you can access the graph.

Your data doesn't seem accurate

If your Pulse Wave Velocity data doesn't seem accurate, perform the following steps:

  1. Make sure you step on the scale barefoot.
  2. Make sure your scale is clean.
    Click here for cleaning instructions.
  3. Make sure you remain still the entire time you're on the scale.
  4. Make sure you don't talk during the measurement.
  5. Make sure you're in a quiet room where the temperature is stable (ideally 71.6-73.4°F22-23°C).
  6. Make sure you take the measurement at the same hour every day, and at least three hours after a meal, drinking coffee or smoking a cigarette.
