The Withings App allows accounts to be associated with several user profiles at once, allowing an account-holder to add up to 8 family or friends to one shared Withings account.

There are two types of Withings Profiles:

• Account Profile: The primary account-holder or original user who can add and remove other users, set up Withings+ subscriptions and manage the account.
• User Profile: These are secondary guest profiles added by the account holder.

Adding a User Profile

On the Withings App (iOS or Android):

1. Select the Profile icon in the upper left corner.
2. Scroll down to 'Family' section.
3. Select Add.
4. Ensure you have user's consent to create their profile.
5. Fill out the profile and select Next.
6. Enter their height and weight and select 
7. User will receive a confirmation email to join your account.
8. The new user profile will appear in the app and web dashboard.
   Note: You will need to weigh yourself once more before the scale receives the new user's information. 

On the Web Dashboard:

1. Select the Profile icon in the upper right corner.
2. Select the plus (+) icon.
3. Ensure you have user's consent to create their profile.
4. Fill out the profile and select Next.
5. Enter their height and weight.
6. User will receive a confirmation email to join your account.
7. The new user profile will appear in the app and web dashboard.
   Note: You will need to weigh yourself once more before the scale receives the new user's information. 

Removing a User Profile

On the Withings App (iOS or Android):

1. Select the Profile icon in the upper left corner.
2. Scroll down to 'Family' section.
3. Select the User Profile you wish to remove.
4. Scroll down and select Delete This User.
   Note: Deleting a user profile will also delete their data.
5. Confirm you want to delete the user.

On the Web Dashboard:

1. Select the Profile icon in the upper right corner.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select the icon for the User Profile you want to delete.
4. Scroll down and select Delete.
5. Select the action you want from the tab.
   Note: An email will be sent to the account holder's email address with a 7-day link to the profile's data for download.

Editing a User Profile

On the Withings App (iOS or Android):

1. Select the Profile icon in the upper left corner.
2. Scroll down to 'Family' section.
3. Select the User Profile you wish to edit.
   Note: User Profiles will only be able to edit their own profile details.
4. Edit the details to your preference.
5. Select the checkmark in the upper right corner to save details.

On the Web Dashboard:

1. Select the Profile icon in the upper right corner.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select the icon for the User Profile you want to edit.
4. Edit the details to your preference.
5. Select Save in the upper right corner to save details.
