If you receive the message "U-Scan Requires Cleaning" in the Withings App, this indicates that there is a clog in the device that is preventing your U-Scan from working properly.
Typically, a deep cleaning will solve this issue; however, in some rare instances, further action is needed.
If the deep cleaning doesn't solve the issue, try the deep cleaning process with vinegar, as detailed below:
- Prepare the Station for cleaning, following guidelines in our article.
- Fill the Station with white vinegar so that the bottom 1/3 of the U-Scan is covered (enough to fully submerge the collection point) when placed inside.
- Run the cleaning cycle as indicated in the app.
