ScanWatch can detect irregular heartbeats throughout the day and night, using a PPG (photoplethysmography) sensor that emits green light and measures its reflections on the blood vessels in the wrist. When the blood flows, the reflection of light changes. Learn more.
An exclusive algorithm analyzes the signal. If an irregular rhythm is detected, you will receive a notification.
You can see your irregular heartbeat data on your Withings App.
Your latest irregular heartbeat data will be available on both your Home screen and Dashboard.
Note: You cannot receive irregular heartbeat notifications if you haven’t enabled them beforehand. To activate them, please go to the Devices tab of your Withings App then go to All Settings > Health Features > Irregular Heartbeat and follow the on-screen steps.
