What is Move ECG?

Move ECG is the unique activity and sleep tracking that features on-demand electrocardiogram (ECG), a 1-year battery life, and water resistance to 50m.

Withings Move will be a product that people can design themselves: What about Move ECG?

Move ECG is a different product than Withings Move. Its watch face will be available in both white and black, and people will be able to choose from a variety of wristband colors and material options to complement each user’s personal style.

What is an electrocardiogram (ECG)?

An ECG is the record of the electrical activity of the heart through electrodes.

Should I use the Move ECG if I wear a pacemaker?

No, you should not use Move ECG if you wear a pacemaker or other internal medical device. Move ECG circulates a small electrical signal in your body to record your electrocardiogram (ECG), which may interfere with a pacemaker or other medical device.

Does Move ECG measure heart rate?

Move ECG measures your heart rate only during the ECG recording (30 seconds). Both values (heart rate and ECG) will be available in the Health Mate app.

Is Move ECG FDA/CE cleared?

The ECG monitor of Move ECG has received a CE marking, following the medical device directive. Withings is working closely with the FDA to receive medical clearance.

Move ECG recognizes and tracks automatically activities including walking, running, swimming and for the first time on a Withings watch, cycling.

How can I launch a workout mode? How does the connected GPS work on Move ECG?

Users can activate the workout mode by simply pushing the side button of the watch to record a sport session with GPS connectivity. Once paired with a smartphone, users can track their pace, distance, calories burned, elevation and map their workouts while walking, running or cycling. Pace and distance can be tracked live on the user’s phone and after a session, the user’s workout route can be viewed in the Health Mate app.
