Recovery is one of the two necessary metrics for measuring Readiness, and refers to any recorded rest period, such as sleeping and naps. In order to make sure you can maintain a persistent Readiness Status, make sure you’re recording one physical activity per day (Effort) and one period of rest or sleep (Recovery).
If you don't see any Recovery data in your Readiness Status, please check the following:
- Wear your tracking device consistently. Our step trackers need to be worn at night to track your sleep. If you are using a Sleep/Sleep Analyzer for sleep tracking, make sure that it is installed correctly under your bed.
- If using a Withings Watch: wear the watch snugly on your wrist all night. Make sure not to apply too much pressure on the watch during the night, by keeping it under your pillow.
- Enable data sharing with another data source. If you are using another data source to track data (i.e. another tracking device or your mobile device itself), you can share data between the partner app and the Withings App by navigating to the Share tab, selecting your partner app, and following the on-screen instructions.
- Make sure your watch is synced in the morning. To do this, go to the Home tab in the Withings App and pull down from the top of the screen to refresh the data and trigger a sync. Your data should appear within moments. If not, please see our troubleshooting articles specific to your device.
