To deflate your Sleep, perform the following steps:
- Remove the inner part of the Sleep from its textile cover.
- Unplug, then plug the Sleep using the provided adapter.
- Turn the device over to locate the Reset button.
For older Sleep models: The reset button is inside a small notch with the word 'Reset' below it and can be accessed with a paperclip or a similarly-shaped object.
Important:
- Please avoid using an object that is sharp to press the reset button, as it may damage the button.
- The reset notch should not be confused for the sound sensor, which is located near it and is identified by 3 small holes. Inserting an object into one of those holes can damage the sensor and prevent the breathing disturbance feature from working, so please use caution when performing the reset.
For current Sleep models: The reset button is a larger external button which can be pushed with your finger. - Press the reset button three times.
- A slight click indicates that the Sleep Analyzer valve is open. A solid white LED will light up as the sensor slightly deflates.
Important: Keep the sensor plugged during the whole process. When the sensor is unplugged, the valve closes and prevents any air input/output of the Sleep Analyzer. Note that the valve closes after 3 minutes. - Remove the air from the sensor by pushing on all parts of the bladder in the direction of the air flow, indicated in the picture below:
- Unplug the Sleep.
- Put the inner part of the device back into the textile cover.
Make sure to flatten the sensor all over its surface in the textile cover to make sure it does not fold on itself.
