Disclaimer: Recent changes to our API and new privacy measures have been implemented as of October 13th, 2026. Users will need an active Withings+ subscription in order to export their Withings data to third party apps like Apple Health and Health Connect if you create account on or after this date. You always have direct access to your data no matter what your subscription status. Accounts that already existed before October 13th 2026 will never need to worry about this change, but new users who make their accounts after that date will need to sign up for Withings+ in order to transfer their data between the Withings App and our partner apps. To download or share a pdf of your data, see this article for more information.
Overview
You can track your steps using your Android device and have that data sent to the Withings app thanks to an app link with Samsung Health. This means that in the event that you are not using your Withings tracker, your phone will be able to track steps and send them to the app. You also do not require a Withings tracker to take advantage of your Android device's built-in step tracking capabilities.
Important: If you do have a Withings tracker, the Withings app will prioritize whatever activity you have tracked with it over any activity you have tracked with your Samsung device.
To use this feature, you must have an Android device with the minimum iOS version.
You will first need to establish a link between the partner app of your choice and the Withings app in order to have your Android device-tracked activity appear in the Withings app. Once this link is established, any steps tracked by your Samsung device will automatically sync with the Withings app if no activity has already been synced with a Withings tracker.

Note: The only health data that can be shared between these apps is Steps, Weight, SpO2 and in certain cases Body Composition (beta).
