If your scale’s measurements aren't appearing in the Withings app, follow the steps below. The troubleshooting path depends on how your scale is connected.
Wi-Fi setup
-
Check that your scale is paired to your account:
Go to My Devices. If your scale is not listed, you'll need to reinstall it using the Add a device option. -
Check for unassigned measurements:
When you step on the scale, the scale asks you to select which user profile the measurement belongs to. If no profile is selected, or guest is selected, only the weight is recorded and the rest of the measurement data won't be saved to any account. Open the app menu and look for Unassigned measurements — if any are listed, assign them to the correct profile so the full data can be synced. -
Check the battery level:
Go to My Devices > Select Your Scale and check the battery indicator. A low battery can prevent syncing even if the scale appears to be working. Replace the batteries, or charge the device if needed. -
Check your Wi-Fi router:
Make sure your router is on and working. Test it with another device. If you've recently changed your router or internet provider, see point 7. -
Move the scale closer to your router:
Range issues are a common cause of sync failures. Move the device within a few metres of your router, step on it, and wait for a sync attempt. -
Restart your router:
If the scale is in range but still not syncing, restart your router and try again. -
Update the Wi-Fi configuration (after a router or provider change):
Go to My Devices > Select Your Scale > Settings and select Update Wi-Fi Configuration. Follow the in-app steps to reconnect the scale to your new network.
Still having Wi-Fi issues?
If you've gone through all the steps above and the scale still isn't syncing over Wi-Fi, our dedicated guide covers more advanced scenarios.
Confirmed working when: A measurement taken on the scale appears in the Withings app within a few minutes.
Bluetooth setup

Update your scale's firmware:
Go to My Devices > Select Your Scale > Settings and check for a firmware update. Outdated firmware is a common cause of silent sync failures. Install any available update before continuing. -
Check the battery level:
Go to My Devices > Select Your Scale and check the battery indicator. Replace batteries if the level is low. -
Stay close to the scale when syncing:
Bluetooth has a limited range. Keep your phone close to the scale and make sure the Withings app is open and in the foreground when you take a measurement. -
Check which device the scale is paired to:
Withings scales syncs via Bluetooth to the most recently paired device. If someone else in your household has paired their phone to the scale, it will sync to their device instead of yours. To fix this, go to My Devices > Select Your Scale > Settings and re-pair the scale to your phone.
Confirmed working when: A measurement appears in the Withings app within a few seconds of stepping off the scale, while your phone is nearby.
