Pregnancy Mode allows pregnant people to be able to track their pregnancy on their scale in addition to weekly in-app progress updates.
Important: Enabling Pregnancy Mode will deactivate any impedance-based features on the scale for the duration of your pregnancy.
Pregnancy Mode on your scale's screen
When you weigh in, an icon will appear on your scale next to your username indicating that Pregnancy Mode has been enabled.
The scale will keep track of your total weight gain for the current week every time you weigh in. The screen will show you the total gain for the current week and whether the gain is below average, normal, or above average for users of similar weights based on international guidelines.
Activating Pregnancy Mode
Pregnancy Mode can be activated any time during pregnancy.
To activate the mode, perform the following steps:
- Open the Withings App.
- Go to Devices and scroll to your scale.
- Tap Modes and then Pregnancy Mode.
- Tap Enable Pregnancy Mode.
- Enter your baby's due date or choose I don't know my due date.
- If you don't know your due date, the app will estimate your due date using one of two data points:
- The date of your last period
- The date of conception
For either of these options, enter the relevant date. - Enter your weight before pregnancy.
- The next screen will inform you of the scale features that will disabled when Pregnancy Mode is enabled.
Tap Next. - The mode will now be enabled. Tap Done.
Deactivating Pregnancy Mode
You can deactivate the mode at any time.
To deactivate the mode, perform the following steps:
- Open the Withings App.
- Go to Devices and scroll to your scale.
- Tap Modes and then Pregnancy Mode.
- Tap Turn Off Pregnancy Mode.
- Tap Yes, Continue.
