Bluetooth not pairing with Steel HR watch

When I try to install the watch with Health Mate I get "We could not find your watch. Get your Steel HR close to your phone. Help/Try Again." The watch is right next to the phone.  

I'm having the same issue and I have an Android system. I've done the same you've done. I have Bluetooth headphones and they're working, I can even connect my phone to my car's Bluetooth. Can someone help us? 😢😢

It still won't connect and and now my watch is 7 mins. slow and I can't correct the time because it won't install!!!  It worked just fine with my iPhone 11.

Check if the application is set to always on location and bluetooth
turn the phone off and on
enable locations
Try to pair.

How do I set the location to always on the app?  I think I've looked everywhere it could and turned everything on but I'm sure there are other places I could look.

So, I wrote an email about it to the IT department. They advised me to log in with an other email address. In my case I've logged in with two different accounts. With the other email address/account my watch is now matched with the app again.

Thanks for the info.  I will give it a try!  I also wonder if it's because my watch is still syn'ed with my old phone.  I lost it and that's why I had to get a new phone.
