    Ended up deleting the app and reinstalling it.  Went to my profile, than settings, than account and security and made sure the Face ID and Passcode was turned off.  So far so good.

    Same thing happened to me. I think this part of the app is broken. I did the same thing bleev.mail said and it worked.

    Same thing happened to me. For some time now I'm always prompted to enter an email code whenever I open the app, which is extremely annoying. I assumed if I set up a passcode it would stop this irritating behaviour but no, now I am locked out completely as I have to first enter an email code and then I'm asked for my passcode. Whenever I enter my passcode it won't accept it and I'm stuck on the passcode screen with no option to reset it. The contact support form here on the website is not working. What happened to Withings?

    Same thing. I don’t give a f about security. Why am I doing double and triple level authentication just to find out my weight and body fat. Somebody please suggest an alternative to this ridiculous app. I can’t remember the last time I was so angry with an app. Maybe I’ll lose my 4-5 years of detailed health data. I don’t care. Somebody made my life worse today…

    Hi y’all. I have faced the same problem and was able to get help from the Withings Chat. Here’s what they had me do.

    Visit your Web Dashboard at https://account.withings.com/. If you can see all of your data from there, uninstall and reinstall the app. You won't lose any data. Once you reinstall the app your data will sync.

    For me, it sent a passcode to my email, then a text code to my phone and I was in. I then ensured I had turned off the 2 Factor Authentication and Face ID/Passcode security settings. I hope you find this helpful.

    It’s still happening. The passcode still don’t work. Glad I found this forum I uninstalled and reinstalled just as everyone stated and made sure that feature was turned off. Hope they fix it.

    Same here happened twice on two different devices (ipad + iphone), so not me forgetting passcode 😉 you need fix this please. Also why you cannot only activate face / fingertip recognition without passcode ? Also asking every time for private email code… agree with privacy but seriously need to think the all environment and procedures through so that it is helping and not a mess. Thanks

    Same thing happened to me but I ended up losing all of my data. I was suddenly asked for a passcode and like the OP the one I had set was rejected. I logged into withings.com but none of my data was there which meant when I had to re install the app I had to start from scratch. Three years of sleep scores, heart data and step counts all gone. The thing that is worse howevever is Withings’ rather casual attitude to this obvious bug in their software. I bought my Scanwatch because it was a more attractive device than an Apple Watch. My own fault for choosing good looks over functionality I guess.

    Es ist schon beschämend das der Support es nicht hinbekommt die App sicher zu machen und einen einfachen Passcode zum funktionieren zu bekommen. Wir werden dann die Geräte programmiert und mit der Datensicherheit umgegangen???
    Ich war eigentlich am überlegen meine nächstes Gerät von Withings zu kaufen. Jetzt fällt mir die Entscheidung leicht. Keine weiteren Geräte von dieser Firma :(
