Despite repeatedly changing to new batteries (non-rechargeable), the scale is completely dead. Nothing appears on the display. No communication with the app on the phone.

I''m sorry that your Body+ is no longer turning on. Thank you for trying to rectify the situation. Were you able to perform the following?
1) Remove the batteries for 60 seconds.
2) Clean the battery contacts with a cotton swab, moistened with rubbing alcohol.
3) Used new, non-rechargeable ones (preferably Energizer or Duracell) upon replacing the batteries.
4) Stand on the scale for 60 seconds and see if it will turn on.

My scale, Body Comp, did the same; after 40 days, it died.
I tried to remove the batteries and put the same again, and it didn't work.
I needed to remove the battery displayed as 86% on the app, change it to a new set, and it started working again.
I returned the old set, and it's working.
Not happy about this scenario.

Mine went blank last week. I have:
Changed the batteries, Duracell
Cleaned the contacts rubbing alcohol
Removed batteries for varying length of time, minutes to hours
Stood on them for varying length of time
Pressed and held button for varying length of time
Nothing. Completely dead

My skin went completely dead I changed the batteries I cleaned out the battery compartment I waited for a few minutes I stepped on the scale nothing happened I pushed the button in the back for a few minutes still nothing happened what do I do from here and the batteries are brand new and they are energizer batteries

Hi Lizard Lady with the scales, I fixed mine using a tip from another user, can’t remember who Sadly
Remove batteries, hold in reset button, put batteries back in, still holding button in, job done

Changed the batteries (which were not that old). Nothing happened.

I am having the same issue with my scale that I've had for about 6 months now. Today it started displaying wild swings from 5 lbs to 380 lbs as I stood on it. Now, it is completely dead and will not turn on as I stand on it. I have a ticket with customer service and will update this if I get any info.
