Anxious to hear reply! Mine has done the same for unknown reason. Became loose for couple days and now is open and won't clip back together.

I have the same. Seems to be a common problem and Whithings does not respond. I read about someone who fixed it with transparant tape.

Yes, hoped they would reply and support their product but unfortunately, it does not seem that is their approach. Not likely to buy from them in the future but I may try super glue carefully around the case edge.

The back of my watch also become open and is still attached to 1 point. I suspect this was due to a lot of cycling. Vibration (?)/ That shouldn't be allowed. It is not clear to me what I can do myself. There is no screw to tighten. Seems like a matter for Withings to me. If this isn/t resolved I will never by another product from them. That is a pity because I was very satisfied with this watch. So please Withings, respond to this message!

After this I contacted Withings by Chat and they helped me as well. Even though my warranty had already expired for some time, they sent me a refurbished one for free and this contact was great.

Having same issue, I wrote support and sent original invoice plus photo of the disaster. Very friendly contact - now I get mine replaced with a refurbished one plus 180 days of extra warranty. This even after warranty originally ended some 9 months ago. Great service in my case.

The issue might be the battery gets somewhat bigger over time, eventually pushing the lid out.

Wanted to follow up on my problem with the case being open. After contacting them, customer support was fast and friendly. They replaced my watch which was still under warranty.

My scan watch has just done the same; almost 2 years old.  Cannot charge.

Just wondering if anyone has any update? This happened to my mom as well and she has received no support from Withings. Very disappointing - I guess I will have to buy her a garmin watch instead, at least they don’t fall apart!

About a year ago I submitted my issue (same) to customer service. They verified what was going on and provided a replacement. Very prompt service.
