I have had a similar problem with the BPM in the last 2 months. (I have an iPhone 13 Pr0, iOS 16.6.1) From the screen "New measurement - push the button to wake up your BPM," when I push the "on" button, the green light will flash for ~8 seconds then go out. I never get to the next screen to START. I worked with customer service doing all resets, battery change, cleaning contacts, etc. and got it to work once but then problem recurred the next time I used it. Repeated the process and it worked a second time, then problem recurred. When I asked about repair, I was told that the BPM is no longer made. Purely by serendipity, I discovered if I opened the Withings app to home page only, then pushed the "on" button, the green light will go solid and give me the START page from which I can do a BP measurement. I have repeated this "work around" several times successfully, so hopefully it should work for others. The problem seems to be the app communication to BPM.

I have tried that. The app starts with the number of 146 then gives the error to wait until the cuff is deflated. The cuff never inflated. Sigh......

The process described by crstirrat works for me. I have an iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 17.1.1
