I also wrote here about it. It seems from the change log of the latest firmware update that the setting is removed and left on permanently “on”. I hope they bring it back soon, it shouldn’t be difficult to move an existing function back into the watch. It is a very important option for me personally since I want to always be able to tell the time, even if I am taking an ECG for example. I don’t need the hands to move away from the screen.

+1 — It’s super critical for me to tell time while I’m in workout mode. Please bring this features back.

When im on runs I need to stop my workout, check the time and restart again - super inconvenient. At least give us the option to view the time digitally, while in workout mode

    💯💯💯💯💯💯

    Preach.

It is so ridiculous that they removed this feature. This was the ONLY REASON I USED THE WATCH — IT COULD TELL TIME. Now I can't even use a stopwatch... timer... NONE of the workout functions... without a WORTHLESS CLOCK. What the actual F! It is INFURIATING. I have gone back and forth several times with their useless support team who has "let the developers know" but refuse to provide a way to downgrade the firmware back to a FUNCTIONAL WATCH, nor have they even said they'd be fixing this. It seems this was an INTENTIONAL CHANGE as some outrageously dumb marketing ploy to make the "10.10" thing "their thing" — which like... fire that person. This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of... a smart watch that can't even tell the time. 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️

They also silenced the other thread on this and just said "here's a link to the firmware update article we posted weeks after forcing you to upgrade that tells you what it actually does" — which in my view, is absolutely unacceptable. If you're going to update firmware and REMOVE FEATURES, then you need to WARN YOUR CUSTOMERS YOU ARE ABOUT TO BRICK THEIR DEVICE.

Ugh. I used to love this company and would tell everyone I know to buy their products, now I hate them and am actively looking for a replacement given how they've handled this. All they had to do was say, "Our bad. We didn't realize you guys wanted to tell the time with our watch, we'll fix it!" and then... great... back to customer for life. But nah... Instead, made a great product a terrible one with one a single binary switch and a terrible marketing decision.

Please bring back option to disable 10:10, it would be nice to tell time from a watch again.
