    Hi @David W,

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear that some features on the Withings app don't seem to capture your preferences. I appreciate the details you shared. Currently, the option to turn off missions and goals is unavailable. I have forwarded your feedback to our development team for future consideration plans.

    Cheers,

    Evening,

Any updates on this matter? I too am bothered by these « missions » and very surprised you cannot turn them off as this UI improvement must not be very complicated to implement.

I also find missions and suggestions irritating to the point that I don't want to use your product anymore. This would be a shame, because I've really enjoyed your products up to this point. Not all of us respond to the same stimuli. Please allow us to turn off these pompous "helpers" at your earliest convenience!

After many years, I have a Withings watch again, and I’ve noticed that the Withings app was much better and more user-friendly before the company's episode with Nokia. Today, the app feels far less intuitive and much less pleasant to use — a big disappointment. Forcing users to read or listen to daily missions delivered in a tiring, robotic voice is especially off-putting. It's a pity that such a nice watch is paired with such a poor app.

Can you estimate when will you allow user to disable/hide missions if user does not want to have them?

I just got a Scan Watch 2, replacing my Steel HR. Please update the app to allow us to turn off the missions - really irritating.

Hey Withings — any updates on addressing the frustrations voiced by your users? The lack of action speaks volumes. If this continues, the message to future customers is clear: DON'T BUY WITHINGS.

I also recently bought a ScanWatch 2 and have to agree with the previous speakers. Please change the app so that you can see your data at first glance. The tasks are absolutely irrelevant to me and very annoying. I currently only use the app for synchronization and then have to look at the data in the Apple Health App.

I also agree with the previous comments. The daily missions are superfluous and annoying. I wish it was possible to disable them.

"today's missions" section takes up the entire top page and i never use it.

the crappy design forces everyone to scroll (unnecessarily) to see the stats.

    enshitification strikes again.

Same for me. Just got the Scanwatch 2, and the "Todays missions" section should be totally removed, or at least an option to remove it, as it almost hides all of the "My focus" section, that is what I actually use. I never use anything under "Todays missions".

I left 2 stars on the App Store. These "missions" are a patronizing idiocy.

Indeed it is very irritating to see every day again the daily missions when accessing the app. I agree with other users the user should have the choice to toggle what he\she wants to see.
Other request though is to give the owner of the device the option to archive his\her data on his own storage location (I've 4 TB storage space available). This means improved privacy for the buyers of your products and less use of energy wasting data centers AND BEING INDEPENDENT OF THE TEMPER OF THE PRESIDENT OF TRUMPISTAN

This "Today's Missions" thing is completely stupid. I'm going to return my scale because of this. I don't see why you people must shove crap down our throats, give us the option to turn your stupid ideas off. FAIL.

I found the solution: When you add a device, you are automatically put on a "Program" to "Master your Body Scan" or whatever the specific model of device was. It is the "Program" that gives you the idiotic "Missions".

You see the "Programs" you are in by going to the "Achieve" tab in the app. You can just leave the "Program" and then the idiotic "Missions" stop. Admittedly still patronizing, and does not inspire confidence that Withings actually has much respect for its customers, but maybe easier than to go through the trouble of returning the device.
