    Hi @Hiroaki N,

    Thank you for your post. I'm sorry about the challenge of getting accurate body composition measurements on your Body Segment. I appreciate the details you shared. It is important to note that Body Segment might provide different body composition results than other scales for two main reasons:

    1) Body Segment performs a segmental body composition measurement with a handle (i.e. with 8 electrodes: 4 on the main body and 4 on the handle). As a result, the current used for the measurement is flowing from hands to feet through the body. This measurement is more accurate than a measurement on a scale without a handle where the current is only flowing through the lower body (from one leg to the other). Body Segment measures an impedance that is truly representative of the body impedance value.

    2) Body Segment uses 3 frequencies to provide very accurate results. One of the frequencies is a high frequency (250kHz) which allows the measuring of the water inside the cells (intracellular water). Scales without a handle only measure the water outside the cell (extracellular water). By measuring intracellular and extracellular water, the Body Segment will give you the most accurate results.

    Hi @Jo
    I understand the difference between Body+ and Body segment, those are the number of electrode and the scanning frequency to scan water inside cells.

    I attache the result of InBody measurement in same period.
    It was very similar to the result of Body+, which is deviate from the result of body segment.

    InBody = Muscle mass:54.9kg Body fat mass:23.5kg

    Body+ = Muscle mass:53.0kg Body fat mass:24.0kg

    Body segment = Muscle mass:63.4kg Body fat mass:13.5kg

    InBody result

    Body+ result

    Body segment result

    I remember that you had provided Japanese people mode for Body+ to adjust measurement because Japanese people have different electrical conductivity.
    I guess that Body segment also needs Japanese people mode.
    Don't you have any plan for that?
