    Thanks for your post. I'm sorry to hear about the discrepancy in your body composition measurements taken from your Body Smart and Body+. I appreciate the details you shared.  Our new scales have been confirmed to have new, more powerful BIA technology in terms of both hardware and software, which means that you should expect different results compared to our previous scales. However, please note that there are no set rules regarding the differences on the scales that can be observed, as it depends on individual factors.

     

     

    Here are some advice to help you get the most accurate readings from the Body Comp scale:

     

    • It is recommended to take two consecutive measurements on the scales, as they should give similar results.
    • To ensure consistency, take measurements at the same time of day and under the same conditions as much as possible, focusing on long-term trends rather than day-to-day fluctuations.
    • It is advisable to wear light clothing to avoid any thigh-to-thigh contact, as this can affect the readings.
