    Hello @everyone,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the BeamO. We want to ensure you're getting the most out of this new multiscope, especially when using it for telehealth or monitoring heart and lung health.

For @Marco: Stethoscope Audio & Heatmaps

Regarding the sound quality you're hearing in the app:

    • Audio Filtering: You are correct that the audio you hear directly in the app is the raw recording. This is intended for a quick verification that a signal was captured.

    • The "Cleaned" Version: Currently, the "cleaned" audio—which uses AI to filter out background and friction noise—is generated when you use the HealthLink feature to share a report with your doctor.

    • Improvements: We are actively investigating ways to bring this filtered playback directly into the app so you can review a clearer version yourself.

    • Lung Heatmap: If the lung section is missing, please ensure the device is in "Stethoscope Mode" and that you have selected the lung icon in the app. If it's still not appearing.

Next Step: Because stethoscope audio is highly sensitive, we would like to look at your specific recordings. Please reach out to our Live Chat team here. They can review your logs and help determine if your device needs a calibration check or if there's an app display bug.

For @William: SpO2 Status in the US

Regarding the SpO2 (Blood Oxygen) feature on the BeamO in the United States:

While the BeamO has received FDA clearance for its thermometer, ECG, and stethoscope functions as of November 2025, the SpO2 feature is currently pending separate regulatory clearance in the US.

To comply with FDA regulations, the SpO2 functionality is disabled on US devices until that specific validation is complete. This is why you may see the hardware is capable, but the feature isn't active in the app yet.

We are working closely with the FDA to bring this feature to our US users as soon as possible. Once cleared, it will be enabled automatically via a firmware update.

    Regards,

Really excited about BeamO and the potential it has to be my tricorder and simplify day-to-day health checks 🖖🏻 But like others in the UK, I’m getting a bit twitchy waiting for it to launch here… The original post said it was available in Europe over a month ago, but we’ve still seen nothing in the UK store. The UK listing currently says it’s only available in France and Germany – that’s not exactly most of Europe! Any update on when we can expect to see BeamO land here? Very keen to get my hands on one!

    Hello James,

Thanks for your post, I'm very happy to hear about your interest for BeamO. At the moment BeamO is availble in the EU and some other European countries, I'm very happy to inform you that the UK and Switzerland are next! BeamO's planned UK and Switzerland release date is the end of May. You can register here to be the first to know.

If you have any other questions let me know.

    Have a great day!

I bought BeamO and been using for some time now but I feel like it doesn't match up to the expectations and advertising as there is no insight / analysis on the sound recordings - in practice it's only a thermometer, ECG and SPO2.
What are the plans to have some analysis being done, like for example it's done with BPM Core?

    Hello @Itamar L,

Thank you for your feedback, indeed BeamO will be evolving and we are planning on introducing several new features and enhancements over the time. As medical features require extensive research research, validation, and compliance processes to ensure accuracy and safety, I cannot provide you with a timeline or confirm any features that will be added at the moment, however I will keep you informed of any new developments.

Once again thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, have a lovely day!

    Best regards,

The sounds recorded by the stethoscope and played back in the app are raw and noisy. I've read online that the audio sent to the doctor is cleaned up/filtered, but the in-app audio should be clean too. I need to be able to hear it clearly to know if I've performed the recording correctly.
It is already difficult to find a doctor who does remote consultations; if the recording I send them is bad, it makes it impossible. Do you plan to improve the sound quality within the app? If so, what is the timeline?
One more thing: it seems like the lung sounds section is missing from the heatmap.

I bought the BeamO directly from Withings in the US. When will the Sp02 feature in the BeamO go active in the device?
