I installed v6701 a few days ago on my hr steel (verified in factory settings). Around the same time I did not wear it for a few days due to gift of move ecg. When I started using my hr steele again, I noticed it was 1) not registering my steps (or meters) at all, though it seemed to be registering calories. It also 2) did not register (or perhaps sync w. app) my sleep, though it was registering and syncing my heart rate. For 1) the steps... it must be an issue with the watch itself. For 2) the sleep, it could be either the watch or the syncing or the app...
I have tried disconnecting the bluetooth and reconnecting - no change.
I heve removed the device from my bluetooth connections and my app and doing the factory reset (after 5 clicks) and have managed to re-pair the watch to the app after the factory reset, but find myself back with the original problem of it not tracking steps... could you help me figure out what is going on?

Try to press and hold the button on the watch for 15-20 seconds then continue to hold the button until the screen turns off. When the screen turns back on and display "Hello!" it means the reboot is complete. I tried those steps provided by my friend and the watch started to track my steps again.

Hi. Same problem for me. After a week or so getting reset instructions that I had already tried, my watch was updated with a previous version, steps, sleep started working again. Then a new update came again (v6701) and it didn't measure steps or sleep again. I let customer support know but there was no response about this. They finally agreed to send me a new watch. I am waiting for the new watch. I will see if anything has changed. Completely frustrated by the whole procedure. Have been over a month without the watch. I asked for my money back but they said because I didn't buy it directly from them, it was not possible. There was no response to my observation about the 6701 update from customer support.
