    Try to reboot your Steel HR by pressing and holding the button for 20 seconds.

    I have already attempted that. Pressing and holding the button has no effect. Last time I spoke with support I was told that this is a “known issue” and that it was being referred to a senior team member. My understanding is that they are working on a firmware update. I don’t understand how a firmware update could be installed on the watch if the watch has no ability to connect with any device.

    I am also having the same issue - It says Hello. The sensor underneath is no longer flashing.

    Nor can i reset.

    Has this been answered?

    Support is now telling me that it is a hardware problem and that I should pursue an exchange from Amazon. (I purchased the watch about 11 months ago). Previously I was told that this was a “known issue” and they were working on a firmware update. I have requested that they refer the issue higher up in the company. Meanwhile I have a useless watch!

    I am a Chinese and I purchased it about 12 months ago so I can't exchange a new watch now. :(   And Chinese support told me they don't provide paid repairs    :(

    Hey guys I was facing the same issue since my last update a few days ago. I solved the problem by just putting the watch on the charger and let it charge for several hours. I put it there this morning, and as I came back this evening, the hello message disappeared and it showed the 100% loaded screen. So maybe the rollback of the apparently defect update only works when it is being charged. Good luck guys

    Same issue. I never used my watch and it’s a brand new one... very unhappy about this product and support.
