    If the app is having a hard time finding your watch, you should check your Bluetooth settings. You may remove the watch from your Bluetooth settings as it might be the culprit.

    Having the same issue. It will pair via bluetooth, I enter the pin, verify connection then it's stuck on "looking for your Steel HR.."

    I have the same problem.  The watch worked for a couple of weeks then died.    So turned it off for 2 days as per another forum and now the watch sort of works again but I cannot set it up.    Watch is connected to my phone via Bluetooth but when you try to connect to the app it just spins eventually saying it cannot connect to the watch.    Withings don't offer any support so hoping someone else can.   Any ideas?

    philfran1 im also having the same issues. Downloaded the health mate app...it will detect my watch via blue tooth. "product detected:steel HR 7f" but after like 10 seconds it will pop up with a message :An internet connection is necessary, please activate your data or try again later". Note that my internet is working perfectly... i have tried several times, did a reset on the watch, restarted my phone but still the same old story. Kindly assist or i will have no option but to ditch the watch.

    I too have the same issue. Frustrated with the watch now. I am not able to set it up and my internet is working perfectly fine

    Oh I am so frustrated about the Steel HR with the Health Mate app, with the same problems. It is the worst product I have ever had, with so ridiculous many bugs, unbelievable. Why is everybody having these problems for years now, and why are these problems not history yet? It must be because it is a very bad product, that will never work as expected. IT IS A SHAME.
