Thermo withings is failed

After set up is done my thermo still does not turn it on

please advise

I also experienced the same issue with my Thermo not powering on. I contacted the Withings customer support and they advised me to remove the batteries, clean the battery contacts using a cotton swab moistened with rubbing alcohol then insert new batteries. I am just wondering, if you were able to set it up, that means the Thermo is powering on. Maybe the Thermo is not taking readings but it has light?
