The best time to take your measurement is after shower. Try to clean the surface of the scale using a lint-free cloth and water or press and hold the button for 20 seconds and after 30 seconds try to take another measurement. It worked for me.

    *******SOLUTION******

Hello, I just had the same, my bodyfat went from 23 to 4-6%. I tried factory reset and batteries out for 3 hours without success but then i tried Check for Updates and went through that an now my scale is back to the way it was.
There is a difference between the Muscle mass on the scale and on the app but I don't know if it was there before.
It looks like the app doesn't get the Muscle mass from the scale but just calculates by subtracting Fat + Bone from total weight but I can live with as I'm only registrering changes not absolute values, which for Muscle mass is the double of all other scales anyway.
EDIT: The scale registers in kg and the app in %

Whitings support was just a joke, no help at all

The opposite thing happened to me. But it started happening after the February 11th software update. My bodyfat has been very consistent for the past year, and then after the update it went from 16% to 28% overnight. And it has been registering higher bodyfat measurements ever since that day. I take caliper measurements of my bodyfat to validate the scale readings, so I know that 28% was no where near what it should be. Has anyone else experienced higher bodyfat measurements after the update?

UPDATE on my post from a month ago. To try to resolve my issue, I disassociated the scale and reinstalled it. And then went back in and edited my profile and saw that Athlete mode was not selected. So, I selected it and saved the change to my profile. The next morning when I used the scale, it’s now back to reading the lower/correct body fat percentage.

Same. On the old body scale beginning 4th march fat% went from 5-8% to 17-20% (the lower is correct..). Ordered a new Body+ => the same.

    Must be some Firmware issue.

Funny thing: on 2 mobile apps I see different curves for the same profile for the same time. Opened a ticket, but I don't expect much. Hope the next firmware will fix this.

    Anwswer to Pbekkerh:
I tried your solution, but it didn't work for me. I couldn't do the update - my device didn't connect.

Maybe I need to resent the whole device or something..
