I've seen a lot of posts on setting up and managing multiple users and multiple accounts, but I haven't been able to find anything on handling the same account on multiple phones.
I have the following use case:
My elderly mother is quite ill (hypertension, diabetes, obesity and basically everything that goes with it), and lives alone in another country. I am not able to visit her more than a couple of times a year, and on my last visit have noticed that she's been downplaying her condition, and that her accounts of her health to both me and her doctors are unreliable at best (she does measure her blood sugar, blood pressure, and weight regularly, but then forgets what numbers the devices show, or writes them down incorrectly, or just can't see/read what she's written down).
I'm thinking of buying her a BPM Core, Body+ scale and Move ECG, in order to be able to monitor her health and activity myself, and forward information to her doctor regularly. She is not tech savvy and can barely use a phone so I can't rely on her to be able to use the app herself.
Before I plop down a large sum of money on these devices, I need to know:
1) Does use of any of these devices require the phone to be near the device in order to sync stats, or do the devices connect to wifi and sync to the cloud regardless?
2) Does the user need to be logged into the health mate app on the phone in order to sync stats?
3) If yes, can two phones be logged into the same user account (without one being booted out)?
Basically, I wish to set everything up for her, if necessary have everything sync the health mate app on her phone (but even better if that's not required), but I would be the one accessing her account from my phone.
Appreciate the help.
