You have to download the Wi-Fi wizard from with withings. And follow the instructions from there to get it to work.

I finally found the pairing wizard and my scale went back from the death!!!  It's a very easy procedure , and don't forget you'll need the mini USB cable that came with the scale. Here you can find the full instructions on how to download and re-connect the scale. Thanks Zane for your post.

“PairingWizard.app” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.

macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware.
    ...
okay, it can be bypassed by right clicking and then selecting open. Still can't withings pay for an apple developer account? It's just like 100 euro's a year...

You can not use Internet Explorer, try using Edge.  It worked for me.  I struggled with the link until I tried that.  Worked immediately.

    Hi,

Someone succeed to run Pairing Wizard on Windows 10? I already tried with the application found through this link : http://fw.withings.net/pairingwizard_Windows.exe

Because for me it's not working and I always have the following error message (sorry it's in french :( )

For the moment, help desk is not able to provide me a better answer like : 'You may have to change your balance if you want to keep an automatic synchronisation' and for me it's not really acceptable. Because otherwise my WBS01 is working well even if I have it since 2012.

So I have managed to install it on my Windows 10 Surface Book. When you try and run the software after its downloaded it was telling me that it wouldn't work and I had to contact the software developer. To get around this once it downloaded I hovered over the download in the bottom left of the screen and saved it to my desktop before opening, it then runs the software and connected to me laptop fine.

This is absurd. I need the USB cable, like I c-Fian find it by now? Not. And the wizard download link doesn't work, but I finally got that from another user. All I need to do is change the name and password for my new WiFi router, and I should be able to do that in the dashboard.

That's it. Done with this scale, getting something more 2021.

IF you're having problems getting the pairing wizard to work in Windows 10 try downloading the wizard using Firefox. I initially download using Chrome and the file would not work. Downloading via Firefox it did work and my WSB01 is back on my WiFi.

The pairing wizard doesn't work with the latest version of MacOS.

The 2009 scale is essentially a brick now.

So I needed to update the WiFi on my scales, and I have iMac, MacBook and iPhone.

On the iMac and MacBook Pro both M1 and iPhone 11, the Health Mate unexpectedly crashed repeatedly when trying to find the scale.

So I tried the install via website account, with cable to scale.

The installers aren't compatible with M1 chip, so I used MacX86 installer and override warnings to open, then its only gets to step 1, then the "continue" button won't activate. I assume compatibility issue, or it can't find the scale via USB Cale connection.

In summary the scale is now unsupported and junk.

    Next please

Got it to work on my MacBook Air M1 - using a USB C to A hub then a USB a to USB mini cable. Managed to change my WiFi password but its a PITA that could easily be resolved.

http://fw.withings.net/pairingwizard_Windows.exe still works fine with Windows 10 - as at December 2021. If you get error messages it is because the file has not downloaded properly. Try a different browser or paste the link into google search. The file should then download OK.

Used it on Windows 11 with Chrome Version 98.... With Chrome you need to right click on the download otherwise it won't download. Right click on Download, copy the link and then paste to a new tab. Then enter key and it will download.

With Edge: it will warn you that the program is not safe, but click on the three dot and force keep the download.

It is clear that downloading an .exe today is maybe not the best idea and maybe the support should study a better way to meet today's security.

The pairing app works and it is easy to follow the procedure. You will need to use the USB cable and plug it to the scale. The USB is a mini USB for those which lost it...

I have tried everything for OS 12 but clearly withings "SMART" people are interested in selling new scales rather than supporting the ones already sold! So evident and so disappointing! My next scale wont be obviously withings 😩 Happy customer's loyalty !

The wizard wont run anymore on the newer MacOS.
Is there a workaround for this?
Please stay away from ironic answers 😓
