I’m on a diet and have lost about 27lbs over a period of 5 months. The body fat measurements on my scale went from 30% on March 21st down to the 17-18% range on March 28th. The fat readings stayed 17-18% from March 28th to April 9th. I got on my scale today, April 11th, two days later, and my body fat percentage is now reading 29.4%. It’s impossible to have a 10.7 % increase in body fat over 48 hours. I’ve tried changing batteries, multiple types of floors, athlete and non-athlete mode today. I weigh myself around the same time every morning and I’m well hydrated. Any idea as to what’s going on? I was pretty darn happy with 17% body fat. Not happy at all with 29%. Which number can I believe? Is this scale accurate at all?
