Hello Everyone!
We thank you for casting your vote, and it is our pleasure to announce that the grand winner of our feature requests poll is Sleep Enhancements! We are thrilled to share that our data acquisition process has already begun, and if everything goes according to plan, our new Sleep Monitoring Algorithm will be implemented within 12 months.Once again, thanks for your participation!Happy posting,ChrisComment actions -
1) Reliability 'feature': watch and software that stops disconnecting and requiring me to open the app to check if it's connected.
2) Flick to display time: Used in Pebble watches, you can flick your wrist to activate the display. You then don't have to press the button on your watch or reach for phone in pocket. Particularly useful in the dark.
2b) glow in the dark hands

Vibration setting: I’d appreciate it if there were a way to adjust the strength of the vibration. Right now I think it’s too weak.
Hands: how about a little color on the tips of the hands on the regular model so it’s easier to see them (I think you already do this on the Sport model).
Always-On Display: How about an option where you can leave the date or time on the display showing constantly? I recognize that this may drain the battery faster, but it could nonetheless be an option for people to choose.
Thanks for asking for our feedback!

Glad to see you included the stopwatch feature in the list: not having it on the Steel HR Sport is odd.
It would also be useful to be able to set alarms from the watch for reminders.
Or, if not from the watch itself, at least from inside the app with much more ease (or maybe setting countdowns).
To me the watch is nice, but for the moment I'm not sure it's offering me such features that would make me think it was useful to buy it. Ok sleep analysis and HeartRate, but more than this it's not so functional.
I need GPS from my phone, I still have to use my phone for reminders\starting calls\stopwatch features.
Also, notifications: I still haven't been able to figure out what's the logic behind displaying them or not. Sometimes they just don't work, while they work if I'm already looking at my phone (woah).

The idle-reminder, if you've been sitting down for too long, it would be nice to get an vibrating alarm to go move around for a bit. I've had it in previous activity trackers, it's an awesome feature, set between which hours and days it should remind you and as soon as you stop moving, set the timer for a reminder in 60 min or so.
This would make the watch perfect! -
Might Withings include VO2 max estimation for cycling and possibly other activities also? I felt a little cheated when, having bought a watch that claimed VO2 estimation, I discovered that was only for runners. My last medical included VO2 max measurement on an exercise bike, so it surely can't be hard to include functionality for cyclists?

A new addition that I'd really like to see is a smart DND mode (where it automatically turns off any notifications when it detects you are sleeping) or failing that a DND scheduler where you can select certain times for notifications to be turned off.
That would be the one quality of life improvement I'd appreciate the most. I've had a Pebble before (schedule DND times) and an Amazfit Bip (auto/smart notification disable when sleeping, my favourite implementation) which were fantastic.
The problem with the current implementation (having to open the notification view on the watch, then manually enable/disable) is that I can easily forget to disable it some nights and then get woken up by notifications (which is a major annoyance) or if I forget to enable it again in the morning and miss important notifications. So a smarter/more automatic function would be perfect.
That's my two cents.

Well, I am going to paste the main ideas I got from many months ago :
1. as said earlier, a finding my phone function would be so great
2. i'd like you to improve the app and the notifications, I am still receiving only 20% of my notifications, can't figure why it doesn't work all the time, even on the same app. You might think about an option which look inside the phone to find options who might be responsable of that bug (like sleep mode, etc).
3. when I setup an alarm on the clock, i'd like that the app setup an alarm on the phone himself, for example : if i can't wake up with the vibration of the clock, the phone start ringing after few minutes, so I won't miss my work

Hi would like some improvement with the notifications. Definitely Need some work doing there. Also the app as well. Agree with the people on the forum. It's been almost 5 months no updates on the watch. Minor update to the app.
Can we have a roll back option if the app update Is faulty this is a big must
This should be at the top of list.

Hello fellow Devs,
The first feature I would like to suggest is a "Custom gesture functionality"1: Record gesture by moving your wrist.
2. Choose the functionality you want to activate.
3. Activate any function you want anytime you want with the flick of your wrist.
*4. Extra original functions could be: Skipping/forwarding media, Reply to messages with a voice message (when you take your phone out of your pocket and bring it to your mouth to speak), activate custom function on PC like led control or changing volume.
I think a lot of people nowadays would rather prefer to control their media through their watch compared to having to open up a phone. If The Steel HR's motion sensiors are not equipped to handle this then custom "hotkeys" like holding for .. seconds or triple tapping would still be a worthwhile software addition.
The Second feature I would use almost constantly is skipping/forwarding media by double tapping or holding the button. I would use this not only while out and about, but also while I'm working on my PC so I don't have to waste screen space for spotify or youtube.

How about a second button for more functions. And this will be much easier to control. Rather than trying to do everything form one button. A sensor to measure body temperature.
How about a small design change as wee would like to see something a little different. Maybe some how you could allow send or attach a drawing. In the forum. Bt 5.1 would helpful with the better syncing

I got my watch yesterday and love it! If I was going to improve it I would add 4 things:
the option for KJ instead of calories (I’m in Australia where EVERYTHING is in KJ).
a second alarm setting.
have cycling as an automatic recognised sport.
the option of larger text for notifications for when I haven’t got my glasses on.
thank you :)

It's been years that we would like through Screen Customization to be able to see on watch the actual "calories burned" and not "total calories", something that should also be possible during workout mode (for example I'll exercise until I burn 100 cals, but must be able to track on watch)
