It's been years that we would like through Screen Customization to be able to see on watch the actual "calories burned" and not "total calories", something that should also be possible during workout mode (for example I'll exercise until I burn 100 cals, but must be able to track on watch)

Coming from a Garmin watch, Steel HR Sport seems to lack so many features.
1. At the end of the day, there is 500+ steps difference between what shows on the watch vs. no. of steps in the healthmate app (The app is always higher).
2. Indoor walking distance is pathetically wrong (0.18 mile detected) per mile. Walking portion works good outside and also fails to work when walking on a treadmill. Garmin had no issues with it.
3. Notification is very limited, it works for messages and nothing else. ( I am OK with it)
4. can barely feel the vibration notification.5. Display to come on with wrist turn like every other smartwatch.
Bought the Steel HR sport for the looks, feature set leaves a lot to be desired. Response in the forum seems sporadic to non-existent. -
Hello,
I bought my Steel HR Sport two weeks ago, and i already do not get any more messages (no vibration, no message).
Is there a way to:
- enable (text/apps) messages back?
-change the strength / sequence /pattern of the vibration, as it does not even wake me up ?
-enable a function to tell me when it loses bluetooth contact with my iPhone, telling me when i leave a place that i left my smartphone behind me!
Note: I've been working for Apple for 28 years, but never wanted the Apple Watch because of... its very limited battery runtime. I'm now happy with the Steel HR, as the battery runtime is what I wanted..
Rgds

Please add a vibration when you turn on notifications, so you know you switched them on.
Sometimes, I get confused when the display says "Notifications ON/OFF", since I'm not sure if it's displaying the state it is in now, or the state I want to change it to. Making it vibrate when you turn notifications on gives me a confirmation that it is now turned on.

Also coming from a Garmin watch, I'd like to see more around these areas:
1. Notifications:
1.a History: I want to be able to read all notifications when I can, not as they pop up. If I don't pay attention the minute they arrive, it's as if I never got them at all
1. b Custom speed: ability to set the desired display speed for notifications from the app
1.c Schedule times for all notifications off, or at least detect sleep and automatically switch off
2. Features: floors climbed, stress level, wrist turn on
I'm guessing NFC for payments and being able to also respond to texts is already way too much to ask for the Steel HR.

Can you added turning off automatically tracking activity or turning off the watch. Because I try everything to stop this watch adding cycling activity when I riding motorbike. I keep this watch at my pocket and turn off bluetooth on my phone not helped. Twice a day I go to office using motorbike and this watch added as cycling activity. Yes, i can delete, but step count cannot delete.

Answering myself - PAI already takes all data (steps, heart rate, other non using steps activities) in consideration. It would be really worth implementing in Withings watches. See movies on that topic:

Hi there,
Thank you for soliciting our feedback.
Please, please, please would you consider including these two features (basics to other fitness trackers) in your next feature development phase?
1. More accurate indoor step counting. Having received and installed a Steel HR yesterday, I have been manually counting the number of steps I've taken; and found that unless I move my arms, the Steel HR is massively undercounting my steps. Please remedy this - as step counting is the most basic function of fitness trackers. (And a huge reason for buying these devices, given how motivating step count totals can be to many of us. )
2. VO2 Max tracking. Again, a most basic (hugely motivating) function in fitness tracking.
Once these two basic functions are improved (together with major changes to the levels of support you provide your customers?), and this watch prove as dependable as other fitness trackers I've owned? I would be most happy to recommend the Steel HR to my family, friends and community, as the best, most beautiful (affordable) fitness tracker I have ever owned.
Many thanks,
Cee

How about a second button for more functions. And this will be much easier to control. Rather than trying to do everything form one button. A sensor to measure body temperature.
How about a small design change as wee would like to see something a little different. Maybe some how you could allow send or attach a drawing. In the forum. Bt 5.1 would helpful with the better syncing

I got my watch yesterday and love it! If I was going to improve it I would add 4 things:
the option for KJ instead of calories (I’m in Australia where EVERYTHING is in KJ).
a second alarm setting.
have cycling as an automatic recognised sport.
the option of larger text for notifications for when I haven’t got my glasses on.
thank you :)
