Using the sleep mat with my sleep number bed

I just recently began using the sleep mat tracking device. I placed it underneath my mattress exactly as the instructions stated. I’m finding that the readings are very unlikely to be accurate, namely because I slept for 12 hours Sunday night and the tracker has me down for 2-3 hours. Is the tracking mat ineffective and/or inaccurate when used with a Sleep Number bed? Sleep Number beds are not like other mattresses- they’re air beds.

    It can not work with air beds, it says it in the instructions.

    ericnix Did you happen to put it between the bladder and the mattress topper? I have been thinking about getting one of these sleep trackers, but I'm on a Select Comfort, too.

    Robert S No, it's between my mattress and the base.  I've not had any problems with it at all.  It's not even on the higher sensitivity level.
