Has anyone had the problem where the side button from the Steel HR is stuck?
Still works but it is stuck

I think I also experienced that before and I just rinsed the watch with warm water and the watch starts working again. You can try it or maybe contact them directly at https://within.gs/help so they can check your watch.

On my SHRS (16 months in use) the side button does work (I can see a response on the screen when pressed) however it does not provide any tactile feedback, which makes it difficult to operate when when biking or driving. I did try all the tricks (rinse, full reset, firmware update) but the issue persists. Seeing the side button problem is somewhat frequent on the Sport HR I think they should offer a replacement or at least a hefty discount to a new one.
EDIT: Withings decided to replace my SHRS; since I bought it thru Amazon the swap was easy. Let's see if it the 'new' one will suffer from the same issue. Big shout to Antonette and Aubrey from client support!

It's sad that Withings seems to commonly have this button problem. My button started getting stuck just after the 1-year warranty expired. I put up with it for about 8-10 more months and found if I flicked the button it would sometimes pop back out and I could still use the watch.
It was very annoying, but now the button has stopped responding to presses completely, though I can see it in the phone app or put it on the charger and the screen comes on. The button doesn't do anything now and have tried rinsing and other things.
I know many types of buttons are rated for hundreds of thousands or even millions of presses on many quality devices. But it seems like they're using buttons that fail after a few thousand presses or else something is seriously wrong with their design or quality control.
This was a nice product while it lasted, I guess. I even paid extra for the Sapphire HR with the more durable sapphire glass which still looks beautiful and scratch free. Too bad the button failure makes it unusable and I can't control anything from the watch.
