BPM Connect restarting (not)

    I am having the exact same problem, it appeared that an update was downloaded and them loaded on the BPM Connect Device, then I got the "Your BPM Connect is restarting..."  message, that was 20 minutes ago, but there is no restart on the BPM Connect Device.  After the update, it powered itself down, kinda hard to be restarting when one is powered down and stays that way.  Since I have my iPhone on a wireless charger, I am just going to let it crank for at least an hour or so, then I will hit the button on the BPM Connect, to power it up, and see what happens, obviously a software bug, and since this is my first experience with the device, doesn't look good.  I am an Electrical Engineer and spend years writing firmware for devices like the BPM Connect, only difference is, my firmware always worked, first time, every time, seems like someone got a little sloppy here.  Not a good first impression.

    If your problem is the same as mine, I came up with a workaround.  What happened to my device, which caused my iPhone to be stuck waiting for the BPM Device to restart, is that my device took a firmware update, that apparently wiped out all the previous settings I had set, so I canceled out of the "Your BPM Connect is restarting..." screen on my iPhone, when back to the beginning of setting up a new device in the App, and when requested by the setting up a new device sequence, powered on the BPM Connect Device, everything after that worked like a charm, because the BPM Connect Device had already received the latest firmware update, it did not update again.
