Hello,
While we await the highly anticipated enhancements to our sleep tracking system which was the winner of our poll; we are happy to share a quick piece about how the watch tracks sleep stages.
The sleep stages (e.g. light and deep) are measured based on wrist movement

I agree about the sleep tracking issue, and I have a very similar issue but with the Pulse HR. It seems like there's a defect in how they are calculating what a "nap" that may be causing this issue. I have only been using the tracker for less than a week, and the sleep tracking inaccuracy is starting to get a little bit frustrating as that's the main reason why i bought my tracker.
I too am extremely dissatified with sleep tracking support. There are 2 things: 1. I and many older adults get up during the night to go to the bathroom. More days than not, I get NO sleep data. And when i do, it is incorrect 100% of the time. This is unacceptable and your explanations (excuses?) don't hold water. How do i know? I've taken to also wearing my old fitbit and am getting accurate readings every time. Even naps, of which i take plenty, once i got older and developed heart issues. Unless, your target audience is the young and healty, you need to accept this as a real issue and fix it. Because of my heart issue, i must get enough quality sleep. (Hence the naps) i love my watch, but if you can't fix it, i will have to find another solution.
2. Lastly, (again because of the heart issue), I need a way to accurately track my heart rate. Particully, during exercise, the number is sometimes funky. In the gym, a machine might register for example 110 and the watch will jump to 250. I would have to take it off for a bit to let it reset. The first few times it terrified me. Now, I ignore. Not a good thing for a heart patient.
