guest weight

we have 3 family members who regularly use the body+ scale and all are entered in one account. This works fine; whenever one weighs himself the scale recognizes and stores the weight under the appropriate persons id.

However we also have guests visiting from time to time who would like to weigh themselves also. There is no need to save their data, just allow them to use the scale as a scale. Will this work? What should they do when the scale shows them the various ids of the people who are configured to use the scale? Can they just step off with no assignment, or ?

I also have a Body+ scale and my friend, who doesn't have a Withings account associated with the device, weighed in. The scale provides her weight data but since our weight measurements are almost the same, the scale assigned it to my user profile. This article from the Withings Help Center https://support.withings.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036617813 explains that if the scale doesn't recognize the user, it will still sync to the Health Mate account but as an unassigned measurement.
