How do I read the activity dial on steel HR?

Thanks for your question. If someone else is wondering how they should read the activity dial of the Steel HR, please know that it represents the percentage of your daily goal you have achieved so far.

For example, if your daily step goal is 1000 steps and you have walked 500 steps so far, the hand will be on 50 because you have reached 50% of your goal. Same if your goal is 5000 steps and you have walked 2500 steps. The hand will also be on 50 since 2500 represents half of your daily goal.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I understand it as a percentage, though I'm not sure about the discrepancy in read out

YES - it seems to be so based on continued usage. I set the daily goal at 10K and that is what confirmed that it's percentage. Thank you so much for your comment!
